"Unspeakable" is a short story set in the Jokka's Shell universe.

It was originally published as Strange Horizons's feature story in November 2002. Awards include the 2002 Strange Horizons Reader's Choice award, and finalist-running for a 2003 Spectrum award. "Unspeakable" was also chosen for the Best of Strange Horizons 2003 anthology.
